At Spring Oriental Medicine, I combine my background in medicine, research, and Traditional Chinese Medicine to provide personalized, evidence-informed acupuncture care. I take time to understand each patient's concerns, health history, and goals, then develop a treatment approach tailored to the individual.
My journey in medicine has taken me across two healthcare systems and two healing traditions.
More than 20 years ago, I began my career as a physician in China, caring for patients with a wide range of medical conditions, including women's health concerns and cancer. These experiences taught me the importance of looking beyond symptoms and understanding the person as a whole.
After moving to the United States, I continued my work in medical research at Northwestern University while pursuing advanced training in Traditional Chinese Medicine. I earned my Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) degree and became a licensed acupuncturist in Illinois.
Today, I bring these experiences together to provide thoughtful, personalized care that combines modern medical knowledge with the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
I founded Spring Oriental Medicine to create the kind of practice I believe patients deserve—a place where they feel heard, have time to ask questions, and receive individualized care.
My goal is to combine thoughtful medical knowledge with Traditional Chinese Medicine to help patients relieve symptoms, improve their well-being, and support long-term health.
